Donald Trump has filed a case of $ 10BN (£ 7.5BN) against Wall Street Journal’s original company Dow Jones and its owner Rurt Murdoch, claiming that he wrote the “Bawdi” note to sexual criminal Jeffrey Epstein.
The US President claims that the publication slandered him and violated the complaint laws in an article, alleging that the birthday greeting in the name of Trump was sent to the late Financer in 2003, before he was accused of sexual offenses.
Trump said the note, which the paper reported that he had sent for Epstein’s 50th birthday, is “fake”.
This came when the US Justice Department asked a judge to ignore the content related to Epstein, after the in -depth criticism of handling the case of Trump administration.
Trump said on social media: “We have filed a powerhouse suit against everyone involved in publishing false, malicious, infamous, fake news ‘article’ in the useless ‘rip’ as a wall street journal.
“I hope Rupert and his ‘friend’ are ready for several hours of deposits and testimony that they will have to provide in this case.”
He said that the newspaper and Murdoch – with whom Trump had an up -end -down relationship for decades – was warned that he would be prosecuted if they print the article.
A spokesperson of Dow Jones said in a statement to the BBC: “We have full faith in the rigor and accuracy of our reporting, and will strictly defend against any trial.”
Murdoch, who was seen participating in the FIFA Club World Cup with Trump on Sunday, established a media empire, which is credited by some people to help the President pursue the President in the White House.

According to The Wall Street Journal, a letter in the name of Trump was “several rows of typerint text prepared by a naked woman’s outline, appearing hand -ready with a heavy marker”.
Paper reported, “There was a typewite note styled as a fictional conversation between Trump and Epstein inside the naked woman’s outline, written in the third person.”
It was allegedly referenced to a joke that “Anegmus Never Age” and allegedly ended with words: “A sail is a wonderful thing. Happy birthday – and may be another wonderful secret every day.”
Trump refused to write a note after the article was published on Thursday, posting: “These are not my words, the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures.”
The US Department of Justice requested a tape concern against Epstein with the grand jury involved in the government’s 2019 sex trafficking case, which is usually protected by secret and law.
On Thursday, Trump ordered Attorney General Palm Bondi to find the release of documents related to Epstein’s secret grand jury testimony.
The Department of Justice formally requested a judge in New York, arguing the material related to the case – where they were accused of smuggling dozens of girls, who were young at the age of 14 – “qualified as a case of public interest”.
The department is also asking for the revelations in the case of its colleague Ghishwin Maxwell, who was convicted in the conspiracy of child sex smuggling.
A grand jury – a panel of people who have enough evidence to charge a person with a crime – can hear from confidential informers and whose identity is preserved for their protection. The material in a grand jury is usually kept secret under the law, but a judge can ignore the documents. If they decide the public interest, it removes the need for such legal safety in a case.
In any way, it is not clear when the documents will be released, or if there are many details of them, Trump’s supporters are demanding to see.
The President developed on Friday amid a turbulent week as some of his most loyal supporters demanded more transparency and public disclosure in the Epstein case.
Some Trump’s loyalists have also called the Attorney General Bandy to resign after reversing the syllabus on the release of some documents related to Epstein.
A Republican Sheriff Chad Bianco, a Republican Sheriff for the Governor of California, told BBC News that it was not to handle Trump’s Epstein files that he was “expecting” and his followers are “millions” disappointed.
He said, “We think we are being talked about to like stupid children.”
Meanwhile, Congress
The effort has brought some fiery opponents of the Congress together, including Republican Marjori Taylor Green and Democrat Alexandria Okasio-Coortage, which are signed as the two supporters.
